AC90
AC90 is armoured cable used for residential, commercial & industrial use. AC90 is a economic alternative to wire in conduit. It usually comprises of RW90 insulated conductors wrapped in paper and covered in armour made of bare interlocked aluminum strip.
Temperature: -40C to 90C
Approval: CSA S22.2 51-M89
Application: Open and Concealed wiring in dry locations.
ACWU
ACWU is similar in construction to AC90 but has an additional PVC jacket over the armour that makes it suitable for wet locations and suitable for direct burial.
Temperature: -40C to 90C
Approval: CSA C22.2 No 51
Application: For exposed and concealed wiring in dry or wet locations and where exposed to weather. For use in ventilated, non-ventilated and ladder type cable trays in dry or wet locations. For direct earth burial (with protection as required by Inspection). For service entrance above or below ground, For use in hazardous locations with approved connectors
TECK
TECK cable or CSA TECK90 is the go to cable for industrial and commercial applications. Known for its ruggedness and ease of installation the cable comprises of an inner PVC jacket around the insulated conductors, covered in aluminum interlocked Armour and an outer PVC jacket. This construction gives the cable excellent fire resistance, water resistance and cold bending properties.

Approval: CSA S22.2 131
Application: Exposed or Concealed wiring in dry or wet locations. Indoors or Outdoors, Corrosive Environments, Hazardous Locations (HL rated), suitable for direct burial and sunlight resistant. TECK Cables are suitable for installation in ventilated, non ventilated and ladder type cable troughs.
CORFLEX
CORFLEX or RA90 is very similar to ACWU but unlike ACWU it has a continuous corrugated aluminum sheath that can be used for bonding. It is self supporting and can be installed on hangers keeping its shape well. CORFLEX is in general lighter and has smaller diameter than TECK90.
