Conduit Cables (Canada)

RW90

RW90 cable are copper or aluminum conductors insulated with XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene. This insulation provides excelled water resistance and cold weather characteristics. It is suitable for installation in wet locations and underground ducts.

Temperature: -40C to 90C

Approval: CSA S22.2 38/95

Application: Open wiring and raceways in dry or wet locations.

T90 & TWN75

T90/TWN75 cable is generally copper conductors insulated with a thin PVC layer and covered with nylon skin. Due to smaller overall dimensions more conductors can fit into a given size conduit. It should not be exposed to UV rays and is not as robust as RW90 at low temparatures.

Temperature: -10C to 90C (Dry), 75C if Wet

Approval: CSA C22.2 No 75-M1983

Application: General building wire suitable for installation in exposed or concealed wiring and in raceways in dry or damp locations.

TW75

TW75 is generally single copper wire insulated with PVC plastic. Commonly used for service entrance applications. Similar to T90 it should be handled carefully at low temperatures.

Temperature: -40C to 75C

Approval: CSA S22.2 75

Application: Suitable for use in conduit for services, feeders and branch circuit wiring. Used for general purpose grounding for power and distribution circuits.

RWU90

RWU90 is basically RW90 with a thicker XLPE insulation layer which gives it excellent water resistance and is suitable for direct burial or in duct. 1kV rated.

Temperature: -40C to 90C

Approval: CSA S22.2 38-M1986

Application: Direct burial. Service Entrance above or below grade. For exposed wiring where exposed to weather with SR (sunlight resistant) insulation.
