Specialty Cables

MI cables or Mineral Insulated cables are cables in which conductors are enclosed by a metal jacket and insulated with hard-packed Magnesium Oxide (MgO). This construction provides great high-temperature capability, exceptional electrical isolation and physical protection for the conductors especially when subjected to harsh environments.

When installed in accordance with manufacturer recommended installation procedures, the result is a UL/ULC 2-hour fire resistive system which makes it idea for critical and essential circuits.

Withstand Temperature: 250C (Continuous), 1010C (Intermittent)

Application: Emergency feeders for fire pumps, elevators, smoke extraction and pressurization fans, fire alarm wiring.
